Project Overview
Retail Banks was developed for a private UAE banking operator that wanted to strengthen its digital channel for everyday customer banking. The platform brought account information, transfers, bill payments, beneficiary management, card controls and service requests into one connected experience. Customers could manage routine banking activity through mobile applications, while internal teams used web interfaces to support account services and monitor customer requests. Techanic Infotech designed the product around the needs of customers who expect immediate access to balances, transaction history and payment services without visiting a branch for routine tasks. Security, clarity and dependable account information shaped the experience across every screen.
Project Idea
The business idea was to give the bank a stronger digital channel for routine customer activity. Instead of requiring customers to rely on branch visits or disconnected digital services, the platform brought everyday banking tasks into one mobile experience supported by central web administration.
Retail banking involves many small actions that become frustrating when they require different processes. Customers may want to check a balance, transfer funds, pay a bill or manage a beneficiary within the same session. The bank also needs clear records of customer actions, service requests and account activity to support operations and customer care.
Techanic Infotech connected these journeys through a shared banking interface and structured backend services. Customers could access account information, initiate transfers, manage beneficiaries and review transactions from one application. Internal teams could manage service requests and customer activity through controlled web interfaces, keeping operational information easier to review.
The product principle was based on trust, clarity and control. Banking users need to know what is happening before they confirm a transaction, while internal teams need accurate information when assisting customers. Every important action was therefore designed around clear information, confirmation steps and traceable transaction activity.

Challenges
The platform needed to serve customers with different levels of digital banking experience. Some users were already comfortable managing transfers and payments through mobile applications, while others needed more guidance around beneficiaries, transaction confirmation and account services. The interface had to remain simple without removing the information customers need before making financial decisions.
Banking data also required careful handling across accounts, beneficiaries, transfers, cards and service requests. A customer might update a beneficiary before making a transfer or submit a service request after reviewing a transaction. Techanic Infotech structured these connected journeys so changes were reflected consistently while access permissions remained appropriate for customers and internal banking teams.
Performance was another consideration during periods when customers commonly check balances or make payments. Salary periods, bill payment dates and busy banking hours can create concentrated activity. The platform needed responsive account views, transaction searches and payment flows while maintaining clear status information. This helped reduce uncertainty when customers were waiting for a transfer or payment to be confirmed.

Results
Techanic Infotech delivered a connected retail banking platform across Android, iOS and Web, bringing routine account management, transfers, payments and service requests into one digital channel. The product gave the bank a stronger foundation for serving customers who prefer mobile banking for everyday activities.
Operationally, the bank gained connected customer and administration interfaces for managing common banking workflows. Internal teams could review service requests, follow customer activity and work with structured information rather than depending on disconnected manual processes for routine digital requests.
Customers received a clearer way to manage everyday banking without visiting a branch for every small requirement. Account information, transaction history, transfers, bill payments and service requests were organised within a consistent experience, helping customers move between tasks without learning separate interfaces.
The platform also gives the bank room to extend its digital services without rebuilding the core application. Additional account services, payment options, customer support functions and reporting capabilities can be introduced within the existing architecture as customer needs and banking operations evolve in the UAE.
