Project Overview
Pharmacy & Medicine Delivery Platform was developed for a private UAE healthcare delivery operator that wanted to connect customers, pharmacies, riders and internal teams through one digital service. Customers could search medicines, upload prescriptions where required, place orders and follow delivery progress from their mobile devices. Pharmacy teams managed product availability, order preparation and fulfilment through a dedicated dashboard, while riders received delivery tasks through a separate interface. A central operations layer gave the operator visibility across orders, pharmacies and riders. Techanic Infotech designed the platform around UAE delivery expectations, where customers need clear order status and pharmacies need dependable fulfilment coordination.
Project Idea
The business idea was to make medicine ordering and delivery easier to manage across participating pharmacies. The platform connected customers with pharmacy inventory and delivery operations, giving the operator one system for handling orders from request through doorstep fulfilment.
Pharmacy delivery has more complexity than a standard retail order. Some medicines require prescription review, some products may become unavailable, and pharmacy teams need time to prepare orders before a rider can collect them. Separate systems for customers, pharmacies and riders can make these changes harder to track and create unnecessary support work.
Techanic Infotech built one connected workflow covering medicine search, prescription submission, pharmacy review, order preparation, rider assignment and delivery tracking. Shared order information allowed each participant to see the status relevant to their role, while the operations team could intervene when an order needed clarification or fulfilment changed.
The product principle focused on trust, accuracy and timely delivery. Customers needed confidence that the right medicine and quantity had been requested, pharmacies needed clear order information, and riders needed accurate pickup details. The experience therefore prioritised readable information, visible status changes and straightforward actions across every interface.

Challenges
The platform needed to support customers with different levels of familiarity with online medicine ordering. A returning customer might know exactly what they need, while a first time user may need guidance around prescription uploads, medicine details and delivery information. The flow had to remain simple while making important requirements clear before an order reached the pharmacy.
Medicine catalogues also required careful handling because pharmacy inventory can change during the day. Products may have different strengths, pack sizes and availability states, while prescription based medicines require additional review. Techanic Infotech structured catalogue and order flows so pharmacy teams could update availability and review relevant order information before fulfilment continued.
Delivery performance mattered during periods when pharmacy demand increased, particularly evenings, weekends and times when customers needed medicines urgently. The platform had to keep order status, pharmacy preparation and rider dispatch responsive while supporting live tracking. This helped reduce uncertainty when customers were waiting for a pharmacy to confirm an order or a rider to complete delivery.

Results
Techanic Infotech delivered a connected pharmacy delivery platform across Android, iOS and Web, bringing customer ordering, pharmacy fulfilment, rider delivery and central operations into one service. The platform supports medicine ordering while giving each participant a dedicated interface for the work they need to complete.
The operational outcome was better coordination between pharmacies and riders. Pharmacy teams could prepare orders and update status from their dashboard, while riders received structured delivery tasks. The central operations team gained visibility across active orders, pharmacy activity and delivery progress, making exceptions easier to identify and manage.
Customers received a clearer journey from medicine search and prescription submission through pharmacy confirmation and doorstep delivery. Live tracking reduced uncertainty during fulfilment, while saved order information made repeat purchases more practical for routine medicine and healthcare product needs.
The client now has a foundation for adding more pharmacies, delivery areas and healthcare products within the existing platform. Additional pharmacy services, stronger inventory controls and broader operational reporting can be introduced without replacing the core customer and fulfilment workflows.
